Notes
Recorded live in Miami on May 29th, 1959 in front of 2500 people at the 2nd annual Disc Jockey Convention. The Souvenir Edition contains, signed photo's of both Peggy Lee & George Shearing, along with a letter signed by both. Also contains a letter from Capitol Records explaining how this was produced and that it was produced in Stereo. According to the letter it seems only 2,500 copies were produced. All of the material is contained in a beautiful black box.
Part of the letter reads "This special souvenir package was produced specifically for the personal libraries of the 2,500 or so disc jockeys and radio station personnel who attended the Lee-Shearing recording session hosted by Capitol at the Grand Ballroom of the Americans Hotel, during the 2nd Annual Disc Jockey Convention."
